By accessing or using ConjureInk ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.
2. Description of Service
ConjureInk is an AI-assisted creative writing platform that helps users create fiction across multiple genres. The Service provides tools for story planning, character development, and AI-assisted prose generation.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features, you must create an account using Google authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities under your account.
4. Content Ownership & Creator Rights
You retain full ownership of all original content you provide, including but not limited to:
- Character names, descriptions, and backstories you create
- Plot directions, story ideas, and creative concepts you provide
- World-building elements and settings you describe
- Any edits, modifications, or revisions you make to generated content
- Custom tropes, themes, and creative spins you develop
Regarding AI-generated content: You are granted a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, modify, publish, distribute, and commercialize any content generated by the Service based on your inputs. This includes the right to publish as your own work, sell commercially, and create derivative works.
Combined works: When your original content is combined with AI-generated text, you retain full rights to the resulting work. You may publish, sell, and claim authorship of the final product.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Generate content that violates any applicable laws
- Create content depicting minors in inappropriate situations
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
- Generate spam or malicious content
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits or payment systems
6. Community Guidelines
Welcome. ConjureInk is a creative space for building worlds and stories across genres, from kids' adventures to romance to horror. We want it to be inspiring and safe.
Create responsibly
Use the platform to tell stories, not to harm others. No harassment, threats, hate, or doxing.
Mature content
Mature content is allowed only in mature mode for verified adults. Standard mode stays family-friendly.
Never allowed
- Sexual content involving minors
- Non-consensual or exploitative material
- Content that facilitates real-world harm
- Instructions for serious wrongdoing
- Any illegal content
Respect intellectual property
Upload only what you own or have rights to, and do not plagiarise.
Report problems when you see them
We review reports and may remove content, limit features, or terminate accounts in response to violations.
We may update these guidelines as we grow.
7. Credits & Payments
Certain features require purchased credits. By purchasing credits, you agree to:
- Pay the applicable fees as described at the time of purchase
- Provide accurate billing information
- Understand that credits are non-refundable once used
- Credits do not expire and can be used across all genres
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
